I'm getting ready to leave Mexico soon (probably), I'm just not sure where I'll head next. I did realize that travelling is probably going to take me far longer than a year... I'm a slow traveller but I'd rather get to know fewer places but have a decent understanding of them.

Did the cruise ship have big sails? I remember you love the massive sail boats :)

@ Andrew Hedges Wow, that sounds like an amazing sight! Life is perfect sometimes isn't it.

Love your clouds. Are you planning on spending a year in Mexico? Seems like it. I dreamed about you the other night. You and I were sharing a room on a cruise ship. I don't know where we were going though. Just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you.

I love moments like those. Very simple yet amazingly complex.
And very good for one's mood. :)

I had a 'perfect moment' in Pondichery, India, in 1997. I was standing on the waterfront looking out over the Bay of Bengal. There was a perfect *triple* rainbow soaring through dramatic, dark clouds. It was only there for a few minutes. I will never forget it, just as I'm sure you'll never forget yours. It's part of the magic of traveling that we allow our attention to notice such things. The trick is to keep your eyes as open when you return home.
